Cricket Club’s Annual Golf Day was held at The Vale Hotel, Golf and Spa
Resort in May courtesy of the Leeke family.
Again, we were
blessed with excellent weather and a range of teams competed in a friendly
and fun competition. Following the round an excellent buffet dinner was
provided and awards were presented by the Club’s President to the winning
team, for the longest drive, nearest the pin and the best individual
score.
Scores varied
considerably but enjoyment was the purpose of the day and this was
certainly achieved.

We would like
to thank the Leeke family for the use of the course, along with the staff
at The Vale who ensured that the day went without a hitch. In addition,
thank you to NFU Mutual for sponsoring the prizes. Thank you also to those
who entered teams, many of whom travelled considerable distances to be
with us.
