Once again the Club’s Annual Dinner
proved to be an excellent evening with more than 90 members and their
guests attending. Our principal guests were Phil Steele, David East and
Lynn Thomas, Chairman Cowbridge RFC.
Following the Chairman’s review of the
season; the attendees were able to hear lively and interesting stories
from our guest speaker and comedian Phil Steele.
At the club dinner the following awards
were presented - Congratulations to all recipients.

2008 Prize Winners
Cowbridge Cricket Club is grateful to Julian Hitchcock and The Bear Hotel
for the catering along with Lynn Thomas for his support throughout the
year. Thanks were extended to groundsman, Sam Cook for his efforts during
a season plagued by rain and also paid to Ed Pryer, Hannah, Kelly and
Angharad for the continued excellent service from behind the bar.
