Dinner, 9th November

Once again the Club’s Annual Dinner
proved to be an excellent evening with more than 90 members and their
guests attending. Our principal guests were Don Shepherd, Bryn Phillips
and Lynn Thomas.
Following the Chairman’s opening
remarks; the attendees were able to hear lively and interesting stories
from our guest speaker Don Shepherd, Club Captain Jonathan Smart and
comedian Bryn Phillips.
At the dinner the following awards were
presented:-
The “H” Trophy – 1st
XI Player of the Year – Andy Daniels
The “JSW Williams” Salver – 2nd
XI Player of the Year – Jack Harris
The “RH Webb” Salver –West Wales
XI Player of the Year – James Thomas
The “CH Adams” Shield – Young
Player of the Year – Nick Davies
The “Trustmark” Trophy – Services
off the field – Steve Beaverstock
Congratulations to all recipients.
Cowbridge Cricket Club is grateful to
Julian Hitchcock and The Bear Hotel for the catering along with Lynn
Thomas (Chairman Cowbridge RFC) for his support throughout the year.
Thanks were paid to Ed Pryer, Hannah, Kelie and Angharad for the continued
excellent service from behind the bar.
